98% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petit Verdot. Made by an honorary Burgundian. Mid crimson. Very different from the Napa norm on the nose. Looser, more relaxed and more readable than most – really interesting. Very broad and toasty. Fresh finish. Quite long. Creamy texture. (JR)

A full Napa cabernet sauvignon but it shows tension and focus with firm and silky tannins and lots of chocolate, currant and berry character. Drink in 2019.
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Brothers Vineyard is 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot. This is a beauty and clearly the star of the red wine portfolio. Dense purple, with loads of cassis, blackberry, licorice and graphite, the wine hits the palate with considerable authority, impressive purity and only a hint of new oak (only 45% new barriques were utilized ). The finish was long, full-bodied and silky. This can be drunk now, or cellared for 20-25 years.
Snowden's Cabernet Sauvignon The Brothers has all the balance and harmony that defines the wines here in this vintage. Vivid, nuanced and deeply expressive, the 2014 presents a beguiling interplay of expressive aromatics and rich fruit, with beams of supporting tannin that shape the wine. Hints of tobacco and savory herbs add to the wine's considerable personality.
