Note di degustazione
Inky ruby. Aromas of fresh dark berries and licorice, with a smoky element gaining power in the glass. Fleshy and expansive on the palate, offering gently sweet blackberry and mulberry flavors and a touch of succulent herbs. Chewy tannins shape the persistent smoky finish, which shows a trace of lingering warmth.

Full ruby. Powerful aromas of ripe dark berries, singed plum and licorice are brightened by a subtle peppery nuance. Smooth and open-knit, showing good heft and a bite of cracked pepper to its blackberry and boysenberry flavors. Closes smooth and broad, with lingering warmth and supple tannins.
Vineyard soil: galets, sand. Grape varieties: 70% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, 10% Cinsault. Mid crimson. Fruit is the dominant characteristic here but it's all a bit casual. And the dominant impression is one of slightly stewed rhubarb. The fruit could have been fresher even though there is some astringency on the finish. (JR)
