2013 Alexander Valley Barbera

One of the best Barberas made in California comes from the Seghesio family, who planted the first vines for making wine in 1895! The 2013 Barbera is an attractive, briary, effusively fruity, dark ruby-colored wine that is an all-purpose pasta/pizza/tomato sauce-complementing vino. It is medium-bodied and best drunk in its exuberant youth, over the next 2-3 years.
