Note di degustazione
The 2016 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuées 1er Cru has a very refined bouquet, quite sensual in style with intense red cherries and wild strawberry fruit infused with minerals. This is just pure class - as good as you will find from this vineyard. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine bead of acidity, and very cohesive. A very elegant and refined finish. Simply one of the finest Fuées the Domaine has ever made. Tasted at the Domaine.

The 2016 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées is stunning, unfurling in the glass with sweet fruit tones of cherries and raspberries that mingle with fragrant top-notes of violet and blood orange, complemented by more savory nuances of espresso and grilled squab. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, ample and layered, with an incredibly deep, concentrated core of fruit that verges on unctuous yet remains elegantly weightless, concluding with a long, floral and mouthwateringly saline finish. This is a masterclass in intensity without extraction, and it will be worth any effort to secure a few bottles.
Bright, dark red. Musky aromas of black raspberry and chocolate. In the very ripe style of the village here but showing more early personality and saline minerality to its intense dark berry, chocolate and herb flavors than the basic village version. A fine-grained, savory wine with very good length, but, like the village example, not particularly floral or high-pitched today.
