2015 Colet-Navazos Extra Brut Reserva

All the sparkling wines are dry, brut nature, but the one with the green label, produced with Chardonnay and topped up with Manzanilla, ages on the lees in bottle for over three years. I tasted three vintages, starting with this older 2015 Colet Navazos Extra Brut Reserva, which has smoky notes and some balsamic aromas reminiscent of camphor. This is leesy and retains the effect of the contact with the lees for a long time. It's complex, tasty, solid and seamless, with the bubbles giving it a velvety texture. Delicious!
