Note di degustazione
The 2011 Blanc de Noirs Côte de Béchalin is terrific, mingling notes of citrus zest and orange oil with red apple, white flowers and pastry cream. On the palate, it's full-bodied and textural but incisive, with excellent concentration, lively acids and a characteristically delicate mousse, concluding with a long and precise finish. Disgorged in April 2018, this derives from a southwest-facing lieu-dit with clay-limestone soils. Since it spends six years sur lattes, it's always vintage dated.

Made from 100% Pinot Noir, the 2011 Blanc de Noirs Côtes de Béchalin is outstanding, with exotic notes of honeyed citrus, tangerine, and flowers. This beauty hits the palate with medium to full body, has a layered, ripe, seamless texture, and a great finish. It’s drinking at point today, but it should keep nicely through 2026.
The 2011 Blanc de Noirs Côte de Bechalin is a very beautiful wine, especially within the context of this challenging vintage. Yellow orchard fruit, chamomile, wild flowers and lightly honeyed notes all grace this pretty, expressive Champagne. The 2011 is already beginning to show tropical overtones and other notes that indicate it is close to peaking. For that reason, I would prefer to drink it sooner rather than later.
