2016 Vosne Romanee

The 2016 Vosne-Romanée has an attractive redcurrant and raspberry preserve scented nose, a little smudged perhaps? The palate is well balanced with pretty red fruit, the 30% stem addition imparting sous-bois and tobacco notes with a light grip on the finish. It needs just another couple of years before those tannins soften.
