Note di degustazione
Citrus oil, pineapple, exotic flowers and loads of tropical (banana?) notes flow from the 2016 Saint-Péray Marsanne, and it's ripe, unctuous and sexy on the palate, yet stays fresh and perfectly balanced. With bright acidity and a fat, unctuous, powerful style, it should keep for 10-15 years.

Pale yellow-gold. Nervy, mineral-accented citrus and pit fruit aromas show excellent clarity, and a sexy floral element emerges slowly. Incisive pear and white peach flavors are complicated by notes of honeysuckle and bitter orange pith. A minerally element adds vibrant lift and nerve to the finish, which hangs on with strong tenacity and a repeating floral quality.
The 2016 Saint Peray Marsanne was barrel-fermented in old (fifth-use) barrels. Crushed stone, lime zest, marshmallow and melon notes can be found in this neutral but clean, crisp white.
