Note di degustazione
100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Vines over 25 years old on volcanic soils at 200 ft of elevation. Aged for 22 months in French oak (88% new). Spicy and zesty. Lots of life and a little dry on the end (presumably because of the drought). Dried fruit. Very long. Just a little less focused than the 2021. (JR)

Coming all from estate fruit and made from 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc and the rest Malbec and Petit Verdot, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Samantha's Estate is a charming, ripe, sexy beauty that's loaded with notions of blackcurrants, spicy oak, and lead pencil-like aromas and flavors. Ripe, opulent, and much more forward and sexy than the Cabernet Sauvignon Estate, drink it over the coming 15-20 years.
The 2014 Samantha’s is cut from the same mold as the 2013, just denser, with slightly less tannin and a reticent character, but it is loaded with upside potential. Give this wine 3-4 years of cellaring and drink it over the following 25 years.
