Previously an IGT, this wine is now included in the Alto Adige DOC. Closed in a screwcap bottle, the 2017 Alto Adige Pinot Grigio is a fresh and easy entry-level wine. It sports a lean and crisp consistency with fresh aromas of lemon and grapefruit. The finish is watery and thin, but this excellent value wine definitely gets the job done, especially if you are looking for an affordable summer sipper. Some 140,000 bottles were produced.
