2006 Rindo

The 2006 Rindo (bell flower in Japanese) is a blend of 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Petit Verdot. Its dense ruby/purple color is followed by elegant blue and red fruit notes intermixed with tobacco leaf, soy, and spicy barrique in the background. This outstanding, restrained, medium-weight (by California standards) red should drink well for 10-15 years.
