Note di degustazione
Good medium red. Black cherry, dark raspberry and a torrefaction note of mocha on the nose. Rich but quite dry; much suaver than the Bourgogne Rouge but without the floral high notes or definition of the 2016 version. Still, this solidly made village wine boasts good stuffing and concentration.

The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Villages, bottled in February 2017, was matured in 70% new oak. It has a delightful bouquet with ample red cherry and wild strawberry aromas, just a touch of tobacco in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent red berry fruit, hints of limestone and orange rind, all with very fine tension on the finish. This is a superb Gevrey-Chambertin from Serafin.
Light red cherry aromas and quite tight and tense. Could do with a little more relaxation… (JR)
Bright medium red. Wild perfume of redcurrant, cherry and leather. Juicy and silky-sweet, showing attractive restraint to its dark berry, cherry and floral flavors. Very Gevrey! Finishes with firm, dusty, ripe tannins and very good length.
