Note di degustazione
Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Grand-Pontet has a nose of baked raspberries, kirsch and blackberry preserves with nuances of dried roses, incense and dried leaves. Medium-bodied, the palate is soft, lively and juicy fruited, with uncomplicated flavors and nice balance.

The 2017 Chateau Grand-Pontet is 100% Merlot that spent 18 months in barrel before bottling. It does well in the vintage and offers a classic, straight style as well as solid concentration, medium body, ripe, present tannins, and classic notes of both red and black fruits, graphite, loamy earth, and chocolate. It shows more minerality with time in the glass and is a classy, impeccably put together Saint-Emilion to enjoy over the coming 10-15 years.
A solid red with blueberries, blackberries, sweet tobacco and tea. Medium to full body. Love the salty undertones and fresh finish. Wait and see.
