Note di degustazione
75% Sauvignon Blanc, 23% Sémillon, 2% Muscadelle. Lemon zest, lime, plenty of dairy and buttery complexity – this is a white bordeaux by the book. Grassy on the nose: absolutely typical, although veering towards something a bit vegetal. The tartness cuts through the texture. (RH)

Natural-cork closure. Tasted blind. Pale lemon colour. Broad, poached pear and fresh lychee on the nose here. Tropical. This follows on the palate, which is round and full, lychee and mango dominate. A glossy and rich style that will be crowd-pleasing from the get-go. (TP)
The 2017 Olivier is a real sleeper in this vintage. Bright, punchy and beautifully layered in the glass, the 2017 is endowed with terrific energy as well as nuance. Pine, mint, black cherry, spice and leather give the 2017 notable complexity and aromatic brightness to play off its pliant, expressive feel.
Informazioni sul produttore

Ch. Olivier is one of the few actual castles in Bordeaux – coming with a moat and drawbridge. Since Alexandre de Bethmann took over here in 2012, the château has been given a new lease of life, with quality on the rise.
