2013 Paul Bara Special Club Cuvee Rose

Just as it was last year, Bara's 2013 Brut Rosé Spécial Club is taut and nervy. Rose petal, cranberry, white pepper and crushed rocks are all laced together in a tightly wound Rosé loaded with character. I would give the 2013 a bit of time in bottle to see if it softens, but my impression is that it will remain rather taut. Even so, there is plenty to admire. Disgorged: October, 2019.
