2016 Nuits St Georges Blanc Les Perrieres

The 2016 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru La Perrière Blanc wafts from the glass with aromas of lemon curd, drawn butter, mandarin and crisp yellow apple, followed by a medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy palate with considerable texture and concentration, ripe acids and a long, oak-inflected and gently phenolic finish. This powerful, structured wine still needs time to knit together, but it will reward bottle age.
