Punteggio 87-89/100 · Da bere 2020-2030, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2017

Michel Gros lost about half the production for the 2016 Chambolle Musigny Village due to frost. It has a tightly wound bouquet, a little muted at the moment with a distant marine/estuarine scent emerging reluctantly with time. The palate is medium-bodied and shows much better: the tannins quite fine, the oak nicely integrated (better than the Vosne-Romanée perhaps) with satisfying tension and salinité on the finish. Very fine.
