Punteggio 94/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Feb 2019

Aromas of lime zest, Anjour pear, oatmeal and dried white flowers introduce the 2016 Pouilly-Fuissé Hors-Classe Les Ménétrières, a full-bodied, ample and satiny wine, with lovely mid-palate depth and dimension, concluding with a long, penetrating finish. The alliance of elegance with concentration and volume marks this out as potentially the finest of Ferret's 2016s, though the Tournant de Pouilly may give it a run for its money.

Punteggio 92-94/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Feb 2019

(20% new oak): Pale, bright yellow. Crushed stone, lemon and grapefruit on the nose, complicated by a steely quality and a whiff of noble herbs that reminded me of Puligny-Montrachet; quite citrussy for a Ferret wine. Seamless in texture and elegant, conveying insidious intensity to its citrus fruit and floral flavors. Superb fine-grained, very long wine with well-judged acidity and serious grip. This wine stands apart from the other 2016s here for its building, floral aftertaste.
