2014 Reina de los Deseos

Similarly, the 2014 Reina de los Deseos is pure Garnacha from the same slope as La Mujer Cañón in the village of Cadalso de los Vidrios. The grapes were harvested before the rains of late September. It has a superb, perfumed nose, with oriental spices, cracked peppercorns, orange peel, flowers and a stony character. This is the wine that seems to have improved more in the last couple of years, getting more and more elegant. The palate revealed citrus freshness, super fine tannins, mineral, gobsmacking balance and subtleness. This is the most ethereal, insinuating and subtle of the three wines from Gredos. This is simply superb. 1,800 bottles were filled in February 2016.
