Remoissenet’s 2016 Gevrey-Chambertin Le Trio 1er Cru is a blend of fruit from Trepillots, Champonnet, Charbonneaux, all co-fermented. Bright red cherry, rose petal, chalk and mint, along with pointed tannins, give the wine its lively, energetic personality. The Trio is a bit angular at this stage, but it is nevertheless quite pleasing. - Antonio Galloni
