Note di degustazione
60% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. May and August were very wet, but mitigated by an Indian summer. Harvested 8–15 October. Lustrous ruby. Hint of hemp on the nose. Not the freshest. Big and round but a little lacking real fruit concentration on the mid palate. (JR)

Bright ruby-red. Reticent aromas of dark berries, pepper and herbs. In a distinctly cool style, with a raw suggestion of green pepper. Finishes with peppery tannins. Nicely juicy and brisk but seems a bit undernourished.
Elegant, spicy, gamy notes jump from the glass of this medium dark ruby/purple-tinged effort. Pain grille, black currant, cherry and crushed rock characteristics along with prominent minerality are also found in this mid-weight, slightly tannic 2008. An excellent effort, it should drink well for 10-15 years.
