Note di degustazione
(20% new oak; bottled two weeks before my November visit): Healthy bright red. Vibrant, slightly wild aromas of red berries, cinnamon, clove and black pepper, complicated by a balsamic nuance. Supple and nicely concentrated, with its cranberry and floral flavors enlivened by vibrant acidity (technical director Jérôme Flous noted that this wine has the lowest pH among the Faiveley reds in 2016). Finishes with very suave tannins and excellent energy and length. Showing virtually no ill effects from the recent bottling.

Monopole. Bottled. 10% stems. Lightish cherry red. Deliciously pure and sweet-smelling red fruit. Juicy and intense, packed with bright fruit and just a touch of spice. Persistent. Scented mid palate. You could drink this now! (JH)
