Punteggio 92/100 · Da bere 2017-2020, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Apr 2017

The 2016 Aconcagua Costa Sauvignon Blanc was produced with grapes from the Manzanar vineyard in the coastal part of Aconcagua 12 kilometers away from the Ocean on clay and slate soils. It fermented in stainless steel where it was kept wit lees for three months. It's quite herbal and a little reductive, and they are working towards a more austere and less herbal style. In this cool vintage the palate feels sharp, with moderate alcohol and a dry sensation, quite linear, with some volume provided by the yeast's work. With time, the yellow chili note gets stronger. A remarkable coastal Sauvignon. It has a marked style. 67,087 bottles produced.
