2015 Kerner Carned

The 2015 Alto Adige Kerner Carned takes an interesting twist on a grape variety that is not commonly used in Italy. The wine exudes extreme freshness and a pure sense of fragrancy that spans from yellow fruit to dried flowers to clove and allspice. The wine is fermented in large oak casks and ages on the lees in stainless steel for five months. That dash of exotic spice really makes a difference.
