Vines situated where the slope starts turning west, on colluvium at the bottom of the vineyard. Pressed hard and oxidised. He worked hard to keep the minerality in. Savoury nose, but quite sweet fruit. Hedonistic rather than classical. Some honeyed character. Lots still to chew on. (JR)
