The 2016 La Sirène de Giscours is a very pretty second wine from Giscours. Pliant, supple and inviting, the 2016 has so much to offer, including a level of pure immediacy that will make it nearly impossible to resist. Floral overtones and silky tannins add to the wine's considerable allure. There is so much to like here.
The 2016 La Sirene de Giscours is medium garnet-purple in color with a nose of tar, earth and fried herbs with vague plums notions. The medium-bodied palate is firm, chewy and bitter.

Ch. Giscours is a Third Growth estate situated in the Médoc appellation of Margaux. With a long and somewhat chequered history, the estate has seen an impressive rise in quality since the early 2000s and is only getting better.
