2016 Maillet

The 2016 Maillet is delicate, aromatic and very pretty. This is an especially perfumed, gracious wine, with plenty of floral and spice notes that play off the inky blue/purplish berry fruit. Best of all, the Maillet can be enjoyed with minimal cellaring.

The 2016 Maillet is medium to deep garnet-purple colored, and features pronounced plums, black cherries and warm black raspberries that leap from the glass with hints of mocha and cigar box plus a waft of violets. Full-bodied, rich and packed with generous plum and blackberry preserves layers, it has a solid, velvety frame and fantastic length.
