Note di degustazione
The 2016 Poujeaux has a seductive bouquet with dark chocolate-tinged red fruit, fine delineation and focus. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, quite concentrated, gentle grip, but just needs a little more precision towards the finish. Fine. Tasted at Bordeaux Index's 10-Year-On tasting in London.

The 2016 Poujeaux has a pretty, floral bouquet that reveals a light marine influence in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with quite a potent spicy entry, plenty of black pepper and tobacco and a boisterous finish. A little uncouth but still enjoyable. Tasted blind at the Southwold tasting.
Tasted blind. Very hard and tough. Grating tannins. Bitter finish. (JR)
