Punteggio 89/100 · Da bere 2019-2024, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jan 2019

The 2016 Haura is laced with hints of iron, smoke, chalk and a host of earthy/savory notes that add character. This plump, flavorful Graves from the Dubourdieu family will drink well for at least the next handful of years. Tasted two times.

Rich nose and smoked-meat aromas but a bit tough and fruitless. (JR)

The 2016 Haura is a bold, powerful wine. Smoke, chalk and red stone flavors are pushed forward, but what I most like about the wine is its tense, vibrant personality. The fruit tastes like it was picked on the later side. There is much to like in this super-expressive wine from the Dubourdieu family.

Punteggio 88-90/100 · Da bere 2021-2040, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Apr 2017

The 2016 Haura felt a little overdone on the nose, perhaps just a couple of vats of Merlot that ran away a little during fermetation? The palate is more structured and grippy in the mouth and yet it still suggests a slightly overlong extraction, leaving a little bitterness on the finish. The 2015 from this Pessac-Léognan was excellent, but I think the 2016 does not quite match up.
