Note di degustazione
The 2016 Lafaurie-Peyraguey has a refined bouquet, clean and pure, with scents of yellow plum, saffron and light honeyed notes unfurling in the glass. The palate is well balanced, with good density, fine acidity and vibrancy, demonstrating very good depth on the refined finish that evidences plenty of botrytised fruit. Excellent. Tasted blind at the Southwold 10-Year-On tasting.

The 2016 Lafaurie-Peyraguey retains its pure and delineated bouquet with hints of chamomile infusing the honeyed fruit. The palate is very well balanced with a little more tension than the 2018; wild peaches, apricot, quince and touches of saffron become more prominent towards the finish. Excellent.
Tasted blind. Pale gold. Dense nose but not 100% pure. Lots of sweetness without enough freshness nor definition. Just a tad sugary. Barley sugar. (JR)
