The 2016 Reynon Blanc is soft, open-knit and inviting. Dried flowers, honey and mint all meld together in a pretty white to drink now and over the next few years.

The 2016 Reynon Blanc is another winner from the Dubourdieu family. Melon pear and exotic floral notes are beautifully balanced in this super-expressive Sauvignon Blanc/Sémillon blend. Drink it over the next few years.
I am so pleased to re-taste the Château Reynon 2016 Blanc that came across so shrill and bitter during en primeur. Now in bottle, this has pulled itself together nicely with grapefruit and Granny Smith apples on the nose and a balanced palate that has shaken off that bitter edge. Sure, it still pulls up a little short compared to other vintages and yet there is a brightness and sense of energy here that pulls it through. Happy to quickly issue a more generous score.
The 2016 Reynon Blanc is soft, pleasant and caressing, but with only modest depth and complexity. The orchard fruit, white flower and pear are nicely delineated. In 2016, the Blanc is tasty, but not quite the overachiever it can be.
