The 2016 Reynon is laced with the essence of sweet raspberry, spice and wild flowers. Élevage has brought out greater freshness and energy than the wine showed en primeur. Stylistically, the 2016 is a bit more floral and fresh than has been the case in the recent past. Tasted two times.

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Reynon has a pretty perfume of roses and potpourri over a core of redcurrant jelly and mulberries plus a waft of cassis. Medium-bodied with a solid structure of chewy tannins, it has plenty of juicy red fruit and an earthy finish.
Deep crimson with purplish notes. Not that fresh on the nose. Sample problem? Sweet start – much the sweetest vintage of this wine I can remember. Extraordinary really – and perhaps evidence of just how special this vintage is. (JR)
The 2016 Reynon is dark, fleshy and inviting. Black cherry, plum, lavender, chocolate, spice and mocha run through this succulent, juicy Merlot-based blend from the Dubourdieu family. The oak needs a bit of time to settle down. Otherwise, this is very nicely done. Once again, Reynon is shaping up to be a fine value. Tasted two times.
