Very nicely made, with ripe fruit and a lick of reduction: grilled white peach. Until the slightly-too-sharp finish, this has a real Puligny feel to it . Smart wine! GV (AH)

The 2013 Hautes Côtes de Nuits Blanc suffered a loss of crop due to some rot and so it necessitated careful sorting. My sample had undergone a partial racking. It has an attractive nose already, with lemon curd and apricot blossom that seems a little more exotic than usual. The palate is light but balanced with good acidity and then just tapers in on the light finish.
