Coming from a single vineyard in Marananga, the 2010 Zippy’s Block Shiraz has a deep purple-black color and very intense black fruit compote nose with nuances of Szechuan pepper, charcoal, fertile loam, anise and sauteed Provence herbs. Very full bodied, big and richly fruited in the mouth, it has a medium level of velvety tannins and refreshing acid, finishing with great persistence. Approachable now, it should drink to 2024+.
