Intense red fruit on the nose, cranberry ,wild strawberry and red apples with a touch of smoky spice with time in the glass. Lovely weight in the mouth, with a driving freshness, racy acidity and incredible depth and structure, much more than you’d expect of a wine at this level. Rich intense purity of fruit, luscious acidity and cashmere soft tannins on the long finish. Real complexity and lots of potential. Excellent. Jan 2017, FINE+RARE, Drink: 2018-2025+
