Punteggio 92/100 · Da bere 2017-2019, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Apr 2017

The 2015 Aconcagua Costa Pinot Noir was cropped from a dry and warm year that resulted in an earlier harvest. It was sourced from vines in the Aconcagua Costa appellation at some 12 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean that were planted between 2005 and 2009 on volcanic and schist (slate) soils. It fermented with indigenous yeasts and spent 11 months in French oak barrels, and only 10% were new. They harvested quite early in this warm vintage (not as early as the super hot 2017, the earliest harvest in the recent history of Chile). There's very little impact from the oak, a touch of earth and a core of red fruit, quite varietal and clean. The palate shows fine tannins and very supple flavors. Delicious cool climate Pinot. 20,393 bottles were filled in February 2016.

Punteggio 15.5/20 · Da bere 2016-2018, Richard Hemming MW, jancisrobinson.com, Nov 2016

Straight-up red fruit, soft and polished. Very much an easy drinker. Light body, simple finish. (RH)
