Note di degustazione
The 2015 Bourgogne Blanc continues to show well from bottle, exhibiting aromas of ripe lemons, pear and wheat toast, complemented by a delicate top note of petrol. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and textural, its fleshy core of fruit underpinned by lively acids. A touch broader and richer than it was two years ago, this Bourgogne is showing well, but it falls somewhere between youth and maturity right now, as it hasn't yet acquired all the aromatic complexity that will come with another few years in the cellar.

Leflaive's 2015 Bourgogne Blanc is excellent and one of the finest generic bottlings to be found in the Cote de Beaune this year, offering up a note of fresh lemon, nutmeg and chamomile that is already quite expressive. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, sappy and ample, with impressive dimension and concentration for its level and a long, controlled finish. The balance here is excellent, and this outpaces plenty of villages level white Burgundies in this vintage.
Just 13%. Quite a rich nose. None of the matchstick element. Broad and a little chalky/chewy on the end. Good, bright fruit. Masses of acidity still.
