Vines in Davayé and Prissé. Second vintage. He wasn’t a big fan of 2014 but with time it becomes the wine people like best. Simpler on the nose than most of its stablemates at ths point. Very broad. (JR)

(just bottled; made from multiple sites with southern exposure): Bright, light yellow. Highly perfumed, liqueur-like aromas of orange oil, mirabelle and spices. Then surprisingly juicy and light on its feet, and less ripe than the nose suggests. Rather firm acidity here is a bit spiky in the early going. Gon noted that this fruit had thick skins and little juice, suggesting some impact from the drought. I'd forget about this wine for at least two years.
