Punteggio 97/100 · Da bere 2025-2055, Neal Martin, Nov 2018

The 2015 Chambertin Grand Cru has a captivating bouquet of blackberry, raspberry, crushed iris petals and orange sorbet, so beautifully defined that you can pick out each and every nuance. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, well-judged acidity and perfectly integrated oak, fanning out silky-smooth and harmonious on a finish that has class and panache. One of the best Chambertins you will find. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.

(90% vendange entier ; 60% new oak): Deep, bright red. Pure but subdued aromas of plum, redcurrant, meat, soil and minerals. Delivers an extraordinary combination of silkiness and precision, with the utterly seamless flavors delivering terrific sappy mineral grip. This wonderfully spherical Chambertin is balanced from day one but has the acid cut and tannic spine for a long and spectacular evolution in bottle.

Punteggio 96-98/100 · Da bere 2020-2045, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016

The 2015 Chambertin Grand Cru has a beautifully composed, almost nonchalant bouquet with intense blackberry and wild strawberry fruit infused with superb mineral tension. You can feel the terroir here tingling on the tongue. The palate is wonderfully balanced with a sorbet-like freshness. This almost leaps around the mouth, barely able to contain its energy and there is bewitching salinity on the persistence finish. Frankly, it is one of the best Chambertin wines produced in 2015.
