Note di degustazione
The 2015 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Chaliots, which has a little more acidity than the other cuvées, has a tightly wound, perhaps more introspective bouquet compared to some of Michel Gros' other cuvées this year, however, I appreciate the delineation and it gains an attractive floral note as it opens in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with pure redcurrant and blackcurrant notes, a keen line of acidity, impressive structure (especially for a village cru), and a surfeit of freshness and tension on the finish. This is an excellent wine from Michel Gros and comes highly recommended.
