(this is declassified Echézeaux from vines located in Loächausses). Generous if not dominant wood sets off very ripe aromas of cassis, violet, anise and lilac. There is exceptional richness to the very round, suave and opulent flavors that are not especially precise on the succulent and reasonably persistent finish.
