This also displays some reduction but not so much as to completely mask the spice elements. There is a wonderfully silky mouth feel to the nicely concentrated medium-bodied flavors that possess lovely richness and persistence on the mildly warm and firm finish.

The 2015 Vosne Romanee has a perfumed nose of cranberry and raspberry preserve, hints of wilted rose petal emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp, quite firm tannin. This is a relatively masculine and structured Vosne-Romanée compared to its peers, clean and precise on the finish with a saline tang.
Transparent crimson – much paler than this domaine's wines have been in the past. There's an earthiness about this nose, as well as a comfort factor – familiar slippers? Sweet start and good energy. This is a wine that really seems anxious to please. Fair charge of acid and tannin on the finish. Certainly not cheap but it does the biz. (JR)
Medium red. Musky aromas of darker berries and spices, plus a hint of flowers. Juicier and more energetic than the Nuits-Saint-Georges villages, but also conveying the plushness and chocolatey ripeness of the year. This, too, should be attractive early, but its length and sweet, harmonious tannins should give it staying power in the bottle.
