Punteggio 16/20 · Da bere 2020-2028, Jancis Robinson MW, Jan 2017

Mid crimson. Strong bitter cherry aroma. Really rather dancing, fresh and approachable. Not sure I'd pick it as a Gevrey blind but it's a pretty wine with notable acidity. (JR)

Here too there isn’t much to describe beyond wood toast and reductive aromas. On the plus side there is excellent density and power to the intense and energetic medium-bodied flavors that exhibit a lovely minerality on the well-balanced and youthfully austere but not really rustic finale. Very good quality here. Dec 2016, www.burghound.com

The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Village is a blend of seven parcels, although the En Champs broke ranks and is now being vinified separately from this vintage forward. It has a pure and generous bouquet, a mixture of blue and black fruit that suggests something more Fixin in style. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, nimble on its toes, tapering a little towards the finish but maintaining freshness throughout. This is a well-crafted village cru.
