Note di degustazione
The 2015 Vosne-Romanée Village offers up a pretty nose of plum, red berries, hoisin and potpourri. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, sapid and quite firmly framed, with a rich chassis of tannin that clamps down on the finish and a nice core of fruit. Right now this is quite tight-knit and hard to read, and if everything comes into place my score will seem conservative, as there are some potentially fine raw materials here.

Medium red. Noteworthy lift and urgency to the perfumed aromas of raspberry, cranberry, spices and flowers. At once more intense and more supple than the Gevrey villages , with the perfumed quality carrying through in the mouth. The red berry flavors are complicated by saline and graphite notes. Shows excellent slowly rising length for a village wine, not to mention very good integration of tannins. An excellent showing: sappy and vibrant.
Sample. Good energy and savour on the nose – proper Vosne! Very smooth already, as though there had been a lot of work on the tannins which make their presence felt, along with the acidity, only on the very end. Crisp and finely etched. (JR)
