Note di degustazione
The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny Village, which comes from vines located towards the Morey side of the appellation, has dark berry fruit, blackcurrant and light floral notes on the nose. The palate is chewy and ripe, but feels a little static on the mid-palate and needs more tension and energy to come through on the finish.

(from 30- and 70-year-old vines on the Morey side of Chambolle): Bright ruby-red. Perfumed aromas of black raspberry and minerals plus a ripe chocolatey nuance and an element of brown spices that runs through the wine. Sweet, fine-grained and juicy; shows surprising energy but comes across as a bit featureless today despite its ripeness. Finishes with rather firm tannins and an impression of medicinal reserve.
(from Les Herbues and Les Gamaires). Very firm reduction buries the fruit though there is good freshness and energy to the finer and more elegant flavors that exhibit good minerality on the balanced, long and balanced finale. This is a serious Chambolle villages that will also require at least a few years of cellaring. Dec 2016, www.burghound.com
