Note di degustazione
The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru offers sappy red berries, cranberries, wild strawberries and a touch of gravel on the nose, which gains delineation as it opens in the glass. The harmonious palate displays crisp acidity and great tension, leaving a tingle on the tongue after the wine has departed. Chapeau , Amélie Berthaut. Superb. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.

(like the Petits Monts, this wine was bottled in March of 2017; one of the two barrels was new): Bright red with ruby tones. A touch of reduction to the brooding aromas of blackberry, blueberry and licorice. Quite concentrated, fine-grained and suave; the most sophisticated of these 2015s, with its serious, building tannins arriving later. Finishes with excellent length and spicy lift.
(destemmed; one of the two barrels was new): Bright medium ruby. Almost grapey aromas of blackberry liqueur, licorice and bitter chocolate. Very pliant, chocolatey wine with decent energy and a surprising coolness to its black fruit flavors. Densely packed but not heavy, this rather thick wine finishes with lovely minerality and length.
