Note di degustazione
Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2011 Pinot Noir Blue Slide Ridge simply sings of raspberry preserves, warm cranberries and kirsch with touches of potpourri, bay leaves and truffles. Medium to full-bodied, it delivers youthful red berry and earth notions in the mouth with a ripe, fine-grained texture and lovely freshness, finishing with a fragrant lift.

The darkest and most powerful of these Pinots, the 2011 Pinot Noir Blue Slide Ridge is endowed with serious structure and pure, unbridled power. Black cherry, plum, smoke, licorice, orange peel and spices all take shape in the glass. Readers will have to give the 2011 at least another year or two in bottle for the tannins to soften.
Informazioni sul produttore

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
