Note di degustazione
Quite a glossy vintage, highly polished blue-black and indigo. Petrichor. Blueberry. Sweet charcoal. The fruit has a sheen of sweetness, a patina of minerality. Even the tannins feel like the slip and lustre of mica. Very, very smooth. (TC)

Inky ruby. Oak-spiced cherry, dark berries and pipe tobacco on the smoky, deeply perfumed nose. Stains the palate with sweet cherry preserve, mocha, coconut and spicecake flavors and a hint of chewing tobacco emerges slowly. Shows impressive depth, supple texture and building spiciness on the finish, which is framed by smooth, slow-mounting tannins.
53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Shiraz. Completely locked down nose, carefully tuned tannin which is so very fine that it has better drinkability than the 2012 – though it really deserves ageing because the flavour profile is so very dense at present. Hard to pick out individual flavours, but it has the conviction that leaves little doubt of its potential. (RH)
A blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon and 47% Shiraz, the 2014 Cabernet / Shiraz Bin 389 sports a youthful, deep garnet-purple color. Its Cabernet component dominates the nose, bursting with cassis, menthol and violets with anise and mocha in the background. Rich, full, soft and velvety, the palate packs a punch and it finishes long and uncomplicated.
