2015 Nuits St Georges La Richemone

One of the deepest and fleshiest wines in the range, the 2015 Nuits St. Georges La Richemone is terrific. Here the fruit is decidedly on the ripe side, something that comes through in both the flavor profile and weight. Blue and purplish stone fruit, mint, licorice, lavender and violet infuse the deep, resonant finish. Even with all of its intensity, there is good tannin and underlying structure to balance things out. This is an expressive and distinctive Burgundy.
