30-40% whole-bunch-fermented fruit. Mid ruby. Great funky-but-fruity nose that really hits the spot. Grainy tamarind notes. So convincing! Freshness and at a perfect point in its evolution. VGV (JR)

Light smoky/struck-match note. Lovely purity and freshness with that touch of reduction lifting it well. Crisp citrus and a long finish. Delicious and GV . (JH)

The 2014 Marsannay Villages has a light, slightly herbaceous bouquet, one where I would like to see a little more fruité. The palate is sweet and quite candied on the entry, although this tank sample was showing just a little volatility towards the finish that knocked it off balance. I will wait to re-taste this in bottle.

The 2014 Marsannay Clemongeots has a vibrant and lively bouquet with blackberry and raspberry coulis, touches of rose petal and candied orange peel. The palate is full of energy with fine tannin, quite masculine and austere, but I love the focus and structure with plenty of mineralite on the finish. This is delightful Marsannay.
